My subscription does not appear in my account.

I added the software to rid myself of a virus and it has not done so so I would like to cancel immediately.

  Hello Ciaran,

  Please log in to your Avira customer account with the email address you used to order the subscription. You have stored 2 e-mail addresses in your Avira customer account. Your ordered Avira Prime version will then be displayed. Check whether this email address has been verified by you.

  You are writing here in a public forum, we are not authorised to cancel your licence in accordance with GDPR.
  Premium customers with a valid licence can contact the support team directly from the customer account under "SUPPORT": via email, support chat and (in some cases) telephone.

  Only the subscription holder can cancel the subscription.

   At the bottom of this page you will find instructions on how to cancel your Avira Prime subscription.
