Malware
AbgeschlossenHello. I see a suspicious activity with display of an address r-srvtrack following a search via Google. I did not find any information about this on the Avira website. Do you have any information on this r-srvtrack?

Hello Kevin,
Could you be a bit more detailed about the issue which you are facing? Thank you in advance.

Hello Arthur,
After clicking on a link on the Google Responses page, an empty window with a URL appears a few seconds before the requested page is displayed (see screenshot). This does not happen systematically.

Sincerely.
Patrick.

Hello Patrick,
Well, the first step would be to reset your browser cache and all settings. As your settings are also saved within your Google account you should disconnect it before processing.
Also, you need to run a system scan with Avira to make sure that no local adware is left.

I cleaned the Firefox browser (updated version), and performed a complete scan with Avira from the computer, without result.
I can confirm that the problem also appears when I directly look at a URL in the browser's address bar.
It seems, according to the information collected on the internet, that r.srvtrck is a adware?
See https://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-r-srvtrck-com/
Is the detection of this adware the responsibility of Avira?Sincerely

Hello Patrick,
If this adware is legal and non-malicious software that was installed by hand it's quite difficult. So if you are using other browsers, please clean them as well. Also, take a look at your installed software and check if there is software installed, which looks not needed and might suspicious.
