pop-up window from an Advanced-protection reminder

I have a paid version of avira antivirus.
For a week now I get a pop-up window from an Advanced-protection reminder, very annoying. How do I remove the window? Clicking does not help.

  please try to uninstall and reinstall Avira. This should solve the problem.
