Avira Mirror Configuration Proxy Server, Proxy Port

Good morning,

 

In the setup of avira mirror you have a setp where you need to configure a proxy.

Is the Proxy Server which you need to implement the IP address of your server and how do you know Proxy Port?

  Hello Steven,
  
  you only need to insert a proxy, if you have one installed in your environment. If not you can just skip this step.

  Of course, if you use a proxy we don´t have information about the IP address and port, because this was set up by yourself.

  Hello Dominik,

   

  Thank you for your quick answer. I haven't got a Proxy in my environment and I skipped this step but if I launch the Avira Mirror Status Overview it always says Mirror Updater not running.

  Hello Steven,
  
  the Mirror Updater shows only running as status at the moment it downloads an update. If the mirror itself, as well as the update bridge,  shows running, everything should work correctly.
