Automatic Sign-out of my E-mail

Does anybody know how to stop Avira from automatically signing me out of my e-mail?  I leave my e-mail open on my desktop because I check it frequently during the day.  However, sometimes when I return to the tab, I find I'm at my home page log-in screen.  I contacted my Internet provider (Comcast), but they say it's not something they're doing.  I'm assuming it's some safety feature of Avira.  Has anybody else figured out how to stop this?  I have the free product so support folks won't talk to me.  Why do they even offer a free version if they're not going to help folks?  I would have signed up for the paid version but it looked to me like they discontinued the multiple license option.  Ugh!  Avira gets more and more like Norton every day...

  Hello Dyann,

  To be honest, we don't have any feature which forces this behavior. So it sounds like there is a setting that automatically signs you out after a defined time. Sadly, we cannot say which setting it is.
