Opt-out of the not-asked-for bundleware?
AbgeschlossenIsn't it possible to install Avira without all the bundleware like special browser, browser addons, and anything else that is not the essence of what I expect to download when I download "Avira"? I can't find any trimmed-down downloads or opt-out buttons. Even a commandline flag would be good enough for me.
Forcing non-essential fluff on people is honestly a bad road to go down, especially for a security program, even if it's just the throw-them-a-bone free version. Letting the bundleware be installed and then uninstalling it afterward is not an acceptable answer.

Hello Marnick,
Avira provides a free version. Also, free of charge, new updates are constantly being added to protect against malware.
The free version includes the applications that have been classified as important by Avira. Some can even be deselected after installation.https://support.avira.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000754757-What-is-Avira-Free-Security-Suite-
For special applications the paid versions are available.
The paid versions are available for preferred Avira protection programs. These versions can be selected as required.
Best wishes and a Merry Christmas

Sorry but that very much reads like a standard reply template matching a few keywords. You didn't address the subject.

This is the only part that feels like a reply, but does Avira really want to go with a policy of giving people no choice but to install some bloat and invasive unwanted stuff (like an addon for your current browser, and I'm guessing it'll muck with settings like browser homepage or search engine too) first, only letting users reverse the damage done afterward?
