Avira Browser Safety Firefox extension no longer available?

I recently reinstalled windows after an upgrade to windows 10, installed firefox and avira antivirus. Something went wrong with copying my firefox profile, so I started with a new one.

This is when I noticed Avira Browser Safety was not installed, so I tried installing it through the avira interface, leads to a dead link on firefox's extensions page. So I went to the Avira site, since I've installed extensions manually plenty of times, but this site also just links to the firefox extensions page. The firefox extensions page only gives hits on the password manager if I search for avira there.

 

So, my question: Has Avira Browser Safety been discontinued? If not, is there anywhere I can manually download the extension to install it in firefox?

  Hello Tom,

   

  The Avira Browser Safety or Safe Search hasn't been discontinued.

  At the moment it is simply under maintenance and hopefully will be available soon again.

  I'll keep an eye on firefox's extension page for Avira Browser Safety and reinstall it when its available again.
