Find Lost Phone/Wipe/Noise etc

Confusing how you are supposed to find your lost phone, locate it, make the sound go off etc without doing this on your phone. Can you do this from your online account and if so how?

  Hello,

  Sadly, we don't offer any such option via our web-interface. With an additional/ second Android device, you're able to track and remote control another device.

  

  If you would like to use a web-interface you can use your Google account for these features.

  I am quite sure that many years ago I could locate my android tablet with Avira installed by using a PC with some service provided by Avira. Why is this not possible anymore?

  Why is nobody answering that question? I remember that too, Simon.. Why should I pay for something, that probably dont work quite well, as other services. And the support in that forum is awful.. Maybe my english too, but not as bad, as hoping for get answers here

  Well, you lost a customer who's been using Avira since 2017. If I have to go to Google because Avira doesn't have a web console to activate the phone locator from the why do I need Avira?

  I travel, a lot, and I don't always have my computer with me. I'll have my IT locked down work laptop...with no way to install Avira to locate a lost phone. That's a mind-numbingly dumb oversight.

  The service you offer has no value to me if I can't use it to locate, secure or wipe my phone.
