I already use another VPN - does that give any problems?

I'm already using another VPN. Therefore, I dismissed Avira Phantom VPN during installation.

Does anybody know if this has any negative impact on the other Avira functions such as virus/malware  detection, etc...?

  No, I think Its your choice to select which product you want to use, if you desire to wave off one of their product so it would not impact the others.

  So take a chill pill.
