I have followed the instructions to remove this but it is still coming up in my task manager even thou it is not showing as an installed item.

  Hi, yes i have and when i go to programs and then uninstall/change i only have 1 avira item there.  Which is the main program. I run Windows 7 and chrome.  It is causing my pc to lock up and it's totally unusable for a good 10-15 mins at a time.  I managed to get task manager  open and it shows spotlight as the top memory user.

  The task manager pic is not from that time as i can't do anything when it locks up
