How can I uninstall software updater?

It seems latest avira doesn't add records into add/remove programs to uninstall programs added during installation (system speedup, software updater etc.). All except software updater has uninstaller in respective folder however software updater doesn't have "uninstall.exe" in its folder so how can I remove software updater?

  OK I found solution myself, if somebody needs it here it is:

  1. start cmd in administrative mode

  2. execute command

  wmic product where name="Avira Software Updater" call uninstall

  I just tried your solution and it works a-ok !

  Windows Update repeatedly issued an error message and ended prematurely. After I used your solution and rebooted, it works like before Avira Software Update was present. Mind you, you still can update drivers on your system using Avira.

  MY OPINION IS THAT NO SOFTWARE SHOULD INTERFERE WITH THE UPDATE TASKS OF THE OPERATING SYSTEM.
