Unable to install / uninstall due to Avira.Spotlight.UI.Application.exe

I used to use Avira, but changed to another antivirus software.
I uninstalled Avira a long time ago, but it seems that the files remain, so I decided to delete it.
I couldn't remove it from the [Apps and features], so I thought I'd reinstall it and then remove it, and I tried this method, but it doesn't work.

During the installation, I was told "C:Program Files(x86)\Avira\Security\Avira.Spotlight.UI.Application.exe is can't find." and the installation was interrupted.

Did you also cleanly remove all other virus programs according to the manufacturer's instructions?

However, when I deleting the avira folder in safe mode, some files remained undeleted.
"The operation cannot be completed because this folder or file is opened by another program."
But as far as I can see the resource monitor, Avira is not using anything other than Explorer...：’（
These are the files that could not be deleted.- C:\Program files(x86)\Avira\Antivirus\shlext64.dll
- C:\Program files(x86)\Avira\System Speedup\Avira.SystemSpeedup.UI.ShellExtension.tmp1
- C:\Program files(x86)\Avira\System Speedup\SharpShell.tmp1
These may be the cause. But I don't know how to erase them.

I have the same problem....My Avira got accidentaly un-installed and I tried to re-install the Avira Prime Package I purchased but during the installation I keep getting the message ”WINDOWS Can't find C:Program Files(x86)\Avira\Security\Avira.Spotlight.UI.Application.exe”, I tried the method suggested above with the registry cleaner but the cleaner keeps returning the same message " Two or more keys could not be removed, please restart your device and run avira registry cleaner again ", I do restart, I try again and it keep delivering the same message in a loop.....
Yes, I just tried re-installing avira-prime and it returns the same error as I mentioned in the beginning !
WHAt is thesolution? HELP PLEASE !!!!

Same issues as mentioned above. Tried to remove internet security to install prime. Windows in Safe Boot. Like undo and Cristian mentioned.

I HAD found the solution ! I Installed the 14-day trial of C-Cleaner (free download online on their site) GOOGLE it !
I ticked everything in the boxes, Analyzed, ran C-Cleaner 3 times (youll figure it out too) !
Restarted my Laptop !
Went on my Avira Accoutn here, Clicked INSTALL on My Prime Subscription, it dowloaded on my Laptop, cliked RUN, Cliked I agree ET VOILA , IT WORKED !!!! !!!
I truly hope this Helps, My friends !

Hi all, thanks to Cristian Ilie, it had helps to me as well, It is pity that I have to clean my OS with third party software to uninstall avira.
Hope they will fix it.
