How to permanently disable Phantom VPN?

I do not want to use Phantom VPN. I can turn it off, but it turns itself back on. I need to permanently disable it. It is interfering with some website that I often use, and they will not let me conduct normal activities while Phantom VPN is working. But they work as normal when it is off. I just don't want to have to manually turn it off every time I am online.

Unfortunately, you have not specified which version of Avira you have installed.
Did you install this app from a bundle or as a single app?
Have you installed the Avira Free or a Pro version of Avira?We will be happy to help you with further information.

I am running Avira Free Security version 1.0.38.12222.
I installed it many years ago, so I don't remember everything, but I believe it was installed as a single app (whatever was normal to get the free antivirus software).
I am satisfied with this version, except for things like this Phantom VPN. I would like to disable Phantom VPN. I know how to turn it off, but it will turn back on soon after.

pascha45 reply was irrelevant, useless and no help whatsoever. . If this is was the only statement to be made why make it. I came here for the same reason. Unfortunately all I get to do is leave criticism. Why have this forum if you are not going to help avira. Luckily there are other equally good antivirus around. I will now read a few reviews and unless one of your advisers leaves a useful piece of advice I will change programs

How do we uninstall the Avira VPN? I bought an anti-virus program from you, not a VPN service. I don't want it and I never opted in for it.
Alternatively, how do I permanently disable the Avira VPN?
This service is intervening with my daily work.

Hello,
I also realized that , Phantom VPN, System Speedup and Game Booster (seriously, avira?) , applications installed without my consent. They were not showing at windows program add / remove screen.
However i found them under C:\Program Files (x86)\Avira" Folder. (This maybe different depending your install)
Each of these applications had a different folder with their name, and all of them had an "uninstall.exe" or "unins000.exe" , i ran that program and each of them uninstalled successfully.

Thanks for your advice. I finally managed to deinstall phantom VPN.
I currently in the UAE who block VPN services (in fact they are illegal here and I could be prosecuted for using VPN). Every time I booted I had to disable phantom VPN in order to use the internet. AVIRA provided no support on how to disable VPN and as Vasil wrote, I also purchased an anti-virus program and not a VPN!
I think AVIRA has to get there act together or they are going to start loosing customers,
