Can't watch youtube videos anymore

Today I suddenly couldn't watch youtube videos anymore. The videos won't load at all; instead there is a white space where the video is supposed to be. Comments won't load either. When I turn avira adblocker off for youtube, the videos load but then so do the ads. I'm not sure if there was a new update that caused this all of a sudden.

Also the same here. And upon reintroducing the safe shopping item the ad blocker icon is no longer in the browser bar.

Having same problem. Can load youtube.com site, but any video or comments will not come up and the page freezes. If I turn off the Avira Browser Safety extension in Chrome, everything works fine.

I had the same issue i turned off Avira Browser Safety and it worked.

Same problem for me. I did a cleanup 12 hours ago (the whole circus, updates etc. and a restart).
After that the player screen is white an indeed, no comments. The previews also don't move anymore as the pointer is on it. I have now to Edge, but that's not my favority.

Same issue for me. This seems to be a prevalent problem and right now I will disable Avira for Youtube and wait for a fix. If it does not get the attention of Avira team then I guess there are other ad blockers available.
