Unable to perform Custom Scans on Avira Free Security for macOS 11 Big Sur

Since updating the Avira Free Security for macOS 11 Big Sur, I have been unable to perform Custom Scans. In the past, I can drag the folder/file to Avira older versions and perform scan only on the selected folder or file.
Please help!

At the moment, there's sadly no option as requested. Our dev. team is still working on adding features to our latest release.

I got an upgrade to Avira today on my system running MacOS Catalina and now I am having the same issue. I did not realize this would happen or I would not have allowed the upgrade. Is there no way to quickly scan a file in the new version? This is the major reason thing that I use Avira for so do you think this is going to be re-added soon, or should I try to find some other software that will do this, or is there some way to go back to the previous version and use that until your dev team is able to make this work again?

This is such a dealbreaker for me that I was motivated enough to create an account here and +1 the request to re-add custom scans. Good thing I did a quick Reddit search after seeing the upgrade screen before opting in. My intention is to keep skipping the update until this functionality is available again.

Same problem here, scan on demand not possible (Quick or Full scan not possible). I read they are working on it... Hope there is a quick solution to this security software.

Just bought the Avira prime, yesterday I could arrange quick or full scan, today without any reason disabled.If no solution found, I will ask for a refund as clearly this product can't functioneert properly on Big Sur.

I was able to complete the update and enable Avira on Big Sur! Question--what is sshd-keygen-wrapper?? Should I have enabled that as well Avira Security and Avira scan service?
