    Hello Neha,

Here the community is a publicly accessible forum, personal data may not be processed here according to the Data protection GDPR.
The email surely has a sender address, it was not sent to you from here, this sender would have to be contacted for you. We cannot send any e-mails from here to the customers. We also have no access to your customer account.
You have the e-mail, we don't, so it's difficult for us to say anything about your notification or even a possible hacker attack.

Especially with such important requests - with considerable consequences when requesting changes - a check of the sender would be significant.

We regret that we cannot give you a concrete answer from here.

We wish you a peaceful Christmas and all the best for the New Year.

Actually my main concern is why I am getting these reset code which I don't ask for ?

Whether AVIRA has such system them If I mistakenly put wrong app lock pattern , then automatically this reset code is sent to my email id?

  • Hi, I have also received several messages with PIN reset that I did not request. Messages sent from the address <news@campaign.avira.com>. Could you please confirm if it is an address belonging to the company Avira? Thank you.
