    I guess I'll have to talk to myself to get help.
    I have fixed my issue by myself.

    Solution:
    In order to view the .qua files, I had to copy them to a flash drive. Then, I transferred the .qua files to the INFECTED folder of an old version of avira that is on my old laptop. My old laptop had no problems viewing the browser files and restore them.

    If it helped someone, can someone help me how to restore my dissenter passwords ? I have the "login" file, but when I view it with sqlite, I see the usernames, but the passwords are hidden (blob).
    I think the solution is here:
    https://www.zetetic.net/sqlcipher/sqlcipher-api/#sqlcipher_export

    But I have no idea where to paste the following code:

    $ ./sqlcipher encrypted.db
    sqlite> PRAGMA key = 'testkey';
    sqlite> ATTACH DATABASE 'plaintext.db' AS plaintext KEY ''; -- empty key will disable encryption
    sqlite> SELECT sqlcipher_export('plaintext');
    sqlite> DETACH DATABASE plaintext;

    Can anyone help ?
    Thanks in advance.

    Turns out, only the older laptop didn't show the passwords. When I simply run the browser via my current laptop, I get to see the passwords. Maybe every computer has its own database encryption or something like that of which I have absolutely no idea what I am talking about. Long story short, problem solved.

    I don't know how to find my posts in my avira account, so I had to google to find my post.

    After one day of using my restored browser, avira quarantined my browser again. This time I haven't downloaded anything. Who knows. This time, I managed to restore the browser In a relatively easier way by transferring the .qua files in windows safe mode and viewing them with....some other avira executable....Why the hell there are 2 avira executables with completely different menu functions ??? The other executable is only accessible, as far as I know, from control panel -> system and security -> avira anti virus. And I only accidentally found it while doing something else. Almost hidden from the user. And...why the hell nobody told me to try to view the quarantine files from the other avira executable ??? Not being able to view the quarantine files on one of the executables is a major bug. And having 2 executables is a VERY poor program design, considering that one of the executables is missing most of the most important features and functions. And by the way, the more functional executable still works worse than the older version of avira on my old laptop. Instead of being on one page, the file viewing is divided to 226 pages. Every next page takes forever to load. Also, many functions are also missing.

    7 days had passed. No answers. Is anyone from avira staff members sees these posts or ???

    Avira, hello ???
