Removal of Avira Phantom VPN?

Hello all, i could really use some help here, I cannot remove Avira Phantom VPN from my mac, when i try to it says it cannot be removed as it is running, however i can't disable it and it is messing everything up since installing it plus it doesn't actually work!  Any help would be much appreciated?

  The following information would be important:

  • Which macOS is installed on your system? (exact name + version number)

  • Which Avira version? (Standalone, VPN Free or Pro)

  • When was VPN installed and did it work?

  • Describe your installation of Phantom VPN? (Exact procedure)

  • For the Pro version, was the license purchased from Avira or the App Store?

  With the answers and precise information we will try to answer you with concrete data. Thank you for your understanding.

  In addition, I would say that I totally agree with his expression : "seriously, avira?"

  So many years that I recommand your product to my customers, and now you just turn it in a trojan-like software ??? (the install process is exactly the same ; no choice, no advice..)

  That's just not acceptable for a security company.
