Can't lock the password manager
BeantwortetI haven't found a way to lock my password manager. When I boot my PC, the manager is already unlocked. If I then open the Avira app and go the Passwords page I'm asked to enter my master password to unlock the manager even though it's already unlocked! If I proceed from there to regular "passwords" page and pull down the "three dots" and click "LOCK" it again asks for my master to "UNLOCK". I have no idea how to get the thing locked. Any help out there?

Unfortunately, you did not give us any information about your installation, without further information a support is not possible.
- Which OS is installed on your system? (Current with all updates?)
- Which Avira version is in use (exactly Free or Pro, single licence)?
- Which installation of PWM have you chosen?
- Did you install the PWM yourself? Exact procedure.

I’m running Win 10 which is up to date. The Avira version is 1.0.45.15812, Pro version with up to 3 devices. I’m unsure what’s meant by “what installation of PWM”. When I installed it, I was routed to the app for Firefox and followed the prompts. I have already disabled the browser’s auto-fill feature. The PWM is on both of our PC’s and behaves identically on both.
Another question: Should re-booting the PC lock the PWM automatically (when it’s working properly)?

After you have told us which Avira licence (Pro) you mean (there are standalone and bundle versions), it would make sense to contact the support team, especially since the error occurs on 2 devices. Especially with PWM, you should be careful when changing the settings.
