Avira is shutting down and removing its anti-virus pro from the market

I wanted to upgrade from free to Pro. Had trouble updating free. I tried to contact Home. Avira website did not respond. Asked a friend. Tech genius. Said Avira was withdrawing from market. Won't update. Can't contact.

Is it true yuo quit?

  Maybe you ask your friend where he got this information from.
  Avira can update the licenses and may well be contacted. If you want to purchase a license, it is possible:

  If you had trouble with the Free update, then it would make sense to remove your old installation and perform a new installation with the Pro license.
