    Since you have to wait hours every morning for the correct setting of the device, we would recommend you to have your device checked. This will certainly require technical information and queries.

    I think I might have solved the problem myself by setting the scans to low priority.  This now allows other programmes to load and the machine to be used normally.  Seems an obvious solution but not an easy to find setting with so many different routes to take.  Might be a good idea to make this facility more prominent in the set up or routine maintenance.
