    Hello,

    Well, sorry for the delay. We've investigated your request but sadly cannot provide a solution from our side as - even after a deeper investigation with our SLS - Avira isn't forcing this behavior.

    As this behavior is really common we would have this in our records if Avira would be the reason for it.

    Thanks for checking! I couldn't even recreate the error. I was able to set Windows to not recognize HTAs and therefore prompt for an application. I also saw that there is a GPO that will throw a "System administrator prevents..." type of message. But how to force "This app can't run on your PC", when an HTA is double-clicked, remains a mystery to me. If you have any ideas on this, please let me know. Thanks.
