    Which Avira version - exact description - did you purchase?

    Do you see your license under:  https://my.avira.com/en/dashboard/home

    in your Avira customer account and under Subscriptions?

    Please describe your procedure for installing your license. There are sometimes difficulties with the installation from the Apple customer account, so this is the most important question first. Is the purchased license stored in your Avira customer account under Subscriptions and was it installed from there?

    I purchased it on the Apple App Store.

    iOS Mobile Security and VPN - yearly subscription

    Yes, I can see my license on the iPhone and iPad

    First I installed the free version on my Surface. Then went to synch iPhone and iPad, but could not do so without purchasing a subscription. I did so and now I cannot get the Surface and Apple devices synched.

    Every subscription purchased in the Avira online shop is assigned to a customer account, which is always assigned to the email address used for the purchase and is automatically activated under this email address.
    Avira only has access to the Avira customer account, unfortunately not to the Apple customer account.

    Since you purchased your licence in the Apple App Store, the licence should be stored in the Apple customer account. Have you already asked your questions about the installation of your licence via your APPLE customer account?
