    Hello?

    So, would be very kind to have posted the ANSWER for others to know how to solve!  Very glad for Christian....still VERY FRUSTRATING for the rest of us Mac users who have upgraded and see new unknown device after new unknown device being added ~ with installs pending and no idea as to how to get them online!

    Hi John, when I was posting this, I got contacted by Avira support stating me that this is a known issue which does NOT influence the AV functionality. And I was asked to wait for the next update which would solve this problem. Obviously like  anybody else I am still waiting for this „cosmetic“ update.
