  Currently, Avira does not provide a version for Unix-based operating systems. There are currently no known plans to change this in the foreseeable future.

  Which Avira version did you purchase? In the description of each Avira version you will find the necessary system requirements of the individual operating systems, see here an example for Avira Prime:
