AntiVir Pro not working correctly
AbgeschlossenI have had AntiVir Pro installed for years on my desktop. It seems to be working in the background but if I open the control window I cannot select anything. There is just no reponse. There is also a button to buy the Pro version.
I have logged into my account on the avira.com website and there it says I do not have a license, although back in 2019 I bought a 3 year subscription.
The stupid thing is I cannot contact support without a licence to tell them that there is something wrong with the licence.
I cannot fin AntiVir Pro on the website anymore, only AntiVir Prime. Is this the problem? How can I convert my Pro licence into a prime licence?

We can't really understand your problem.
Is it possible that there have been changes on your PC, any settings have been changed?
Did you log in to your customer account with the email address you used to purchase the license? This is important, otherwise you will not be shown a subscription.
You have purchased and installed the Antivirus Pro version?
Here are the differences between the Avira versions:
https://www.avira.com/en/buy-antivirusThe Prime version is a different version, are you sure you want to order it? You can convert the Antivirus Pro license by purchasing the Avira Prime license.
Please check your access data to the probably still active license (the email address you used when ordering and the password you chose for it), then your license should be displayed under Subscriptions

In the mean time I have found out that I seem to have 2 accounts with Avira and I was looking at the wrong one.
When I login to the correct one I can see my subscription for Antivirus Pro. There is also a button to install it. I downloaded the file and installed it, hoping to correct the problems I am having, but instead it installed Avira Free Security! I just don't understand why!
Please tell me how I can re-install Antivirus Pro. If you can give me a contact email address I can send you the details of the transaction and my registration key (I cannot post such details here).
I just want to get AntiVirus Pro working correctly again.
