Camera and microphone not working

After installing the free version of Avira my camera and microphone stopped working and will not load or work in any fasion regardless of settings. OS is windows 10. I had to uninstall Avira and reset my OS and then both the camera and microphone worked. As soon as I reinstalled Avira they stopped working again.
