    Hello David,

Unfortunately, we can't get a picture of your information:

I have tried all the recommended fixes to restore the program but nothing works.

Have you used the search engine of your choice to look at the information and instructions on the error 0xc0000135 on the Internet and also Windows?

    Thank you for your understanding.

Many greetings and have a nice weekend

Tell me the information you require and I will be happy to provide it. I have reviewed other posts that have indicated the same error message and that Avira is not working after resent Widows 11 updates. Your program is broken and non functional please fix it. I suspect there are a significant number of users that are currently experiencing the same problem.

Okay I figured out what the problem was. For those that are experiencing this problem you have to open windows features and enable net framework 3.5, download the appropriate files, reboot and Avira comes back to life!

    Hello David,

Thank you for your feedback. It will be helpful for other readers in this public forum, here in the community.
Since there have been a few reports of the problem, we have pointed out that with a search engine of your choice you can find some instructions - also from Windows - on the net, e.g.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/dotnet/framework/install/on-windows-11

We here in the community do not have access to the customer accounts and the installations, only the support has this access.
It's good to see that everything is working again, and thank you for your troubleshooting guide.

Kind regards and have a nice weekend

Thank you. I was able to discover what the problem was by investigating this update under known issues:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/may-24-2022-kb5014019-os-build-22000-708-preview-442dbde4-ce28-4345-aecf-2d4744376418

I am happy to help out the community and even happier that Avira is working properly again!
