avira ignoring whitelist and reactivating itself

despite this being similar to https://support.avira.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360008614118--Avira-ignores-the-EXCEPTIONS-list-?input_string=avira%20ignoring%20whitelist%20and%20reactivating%20itself im posting this as new because it goes beyond that post. not only does avira scan in folders its told not to scan it also turns itself back on (realtime protection) prior to the time i set. I work in cybersecirity and digital forensics i directly work with, scan and reverse engineer malware and many of the tools i use are considered hacking tools. when i preform analysis chain of evidence is critical.i cannot have files moved haphazardly as this modifies the files data streams. this has corrupted a couple of analysis runs forcing me to start over and wasting hours of my time, futher on the other side when i set it to 24hrs i often return to my station to find (1-12 hr later) that avira is running again and i have many items in quarantine and there have been times when mybsystem has crashed while away and those quarantined items are deleted. This leaves me using tools that cannot validate integrity of my work and produce corrupt results. i have submitted a couple of scans and i want access to aviras local database so i can verify the integrity of my tools instead of wasting hours re-installing each one. the response has so far been highly unacceptable and despite how much i like the product is if unresolved will be the end of my ckient reccomendation/personal use.
