Monitoring of my internet traffic without an Avira Licence

I am somewhat traumatised by 2 events over the past week. I used to use Avira, but changed to an alternate provider a couple of years ago. So Avira is obviously not implemented on my various devices.
I have been using a VPN as well. Out of the blue i have started receiving messages about logins from countries other than my own. What perplexes and frightens me is that Avira is still tracking me. This implies strongly that somehow they have managed to illegally install cookies or malware of some type in my devices.
Avira is supposed to be a leading and ethical provider of internet protection software to prevent actions of this nature.
Why is this happening and why has Avira not properly cancelled my account with all related data destroyed? It's like the big brother of 1984 by Orwell. We are watching you......
Please provide a solution to this unacceptable and dangerous invasion of my privacy. I have considered returning to Avira, but this has been so disturbing that i shall neither use it personally ot recommend it to friends.

At the time, you contacted support and received instructions from them on how to uninstall your subscription, as you were having difficulties with it.
To delete an account, every customer can use this solution for deletion, which only the customer can carry out. Did you follow this procedure?
