How does Avira work with other anti-virus

Hi.
I'm new to using Avira.
If a virus got *allowed* by other anti-virus, does Avira gonna allow that virus too ? Or Avira still scan normally then spot the virus ?
( Sorry for my bad english)

  Avira scans your system, detects viruses and will proceed according to your settings and will secure your system and not allow any viruses.
  You can then have suspicious files tested again by the Avira Virus Lab.

  I have Window Defender and Avira Anti Virus.
  I changed to Avira after Window Defender have too many false alarm.
  Back when I still using Window Defender, I have allowed many Threats/Files.
  Now my question is ,does Avira scan everything including those threats/file that Window Defender has allowed ?
  And if those was bad/virus will Avira remove those even when Window Defender allowed those file to stay ?
