Cannot eliminate a file restored from quarantine
AbgeschlossenI was developing an application with Visual Studio, when Avira decided to set the software into quarantine. I restored the file but something went wrong probably, the file was placed in a folder named RESTORED instead of the original location. And now I cannot delete the file in the original location!!! I tried everything but windows tells me I have no the permissions to delete file, change permissions etc.
What can I do? How do I restore the correct permissions?

Hi pascha45,
sorry, but I didn't find very polite your answer.
What's the point in telling me: "You are writing here in a public forum" or "Google it"?
I thought probably other user had experience this annoying behaviour.
The file has been locked by avira, that, to prevent accessing it had to set some OS permission. This is not related to my account or installation, telling the OS winows should have been enough to let know where the problem might occur.
In addition, you might have asked me to provide these information rather than telling me you cannot provide any further assistance.
By the way I managed to solve it by myself.
I restarted windows in SafeMode this allowed me to delete the files.0 -
Hello Giuseppe,
Unfortunately, you found our answers/information rude.
And now I can't delete the file from the original location!!! I've tried everything, but Windows tells me I don't have permissions to delete files, change permissions, etc.
We saw this as a representation of an unsolved problem. To this, we wanted to be helpful.
What can I do? How can I restore the correct permissions?
We saw this as "questions" that we wanted to answer with our reference to the message from WINDOWS. So, a Windows complaint.
We regret that we misunderstood.
The community is a public forum, we do not have access to your customer account and do not know your installation settings. Since you did not provide any information about your license, we would like to point out that you are writing here in a public forum. Only the support team has access to your installation.
We are sorry that our information with the reference to the WINDOWS message is perceived as rude, we had only tried to be helpful and to answer your questions.
Sorry, I regret my misunderstanding.
Many greetings
