8. How is the licensing processed?
Licensing for the new version of Exchange Security is the same as the old version (per protected mailbox). Avira Exchange Security version 17 is licensed with an activation code (OTC) consisting of 5x5 blocks instead of an hbedv.key file.
9. Does the release also affect Avira Exchange Security - Small Business Edition as a product component of Avira Antivirus for Small Business?
The Small Business version will continue to be available in Avira Exchange Security version 14.
However, if you want to use the improvements offered by version 17, no Small Business Editions is available.
