    I got the same issue today upon trying to install and run my first scan with Avira

    I got it to work by uninstalling Avira, and re-installing it again, and re-booting ... and it worked.

    Hello Evan,

    Sadly your used macOS version (10.11 - "OS X El Capitan") isn't supported anymore. If possible, please upgrade your Mac to the latest version of macOS:
