Avira keeps asking me to install Opera everytime I start my PC...
Completed...I'm not interested in installing it though. Can I make this stop somehow? I don't want to be "reminded later"...

Hello Klausi,
Please have a look at the following instructions:

Kind regards and a nice weekend

Hey there, sorry, this doesn't really answer my question. I'm not trying to trash-talk Opera or anything, I simply don't want to install it, but the only options Avira is giving me is "Install it" or "Please remind me every single day" when I just want to choose "No".
Do I really need to install Opera, then uninstall it again to get rid of this message?

Looks like the only way to get rid of this annoying behaviour is to uninstall Avira and look for another AV, which I recommend.
Their forcing Opera down their user's throat appears to have been an issue for over a year now, and they have no intentions to take their user's concerns to heart or to fix the problem.
They've grown distant from their users.
