It logged me out and I now have no way of getting back in, because what I thought was the password, doesn't work. Sort your app out. I now, because you didnt know how to do it properly, have no way of accessing the passwords of 10+ accounts that I use on a regular basis. Thank you, I hope you have a crap day.

  Same thing happened to me. I guess it is a way of forcing us to get a paid account, holding passwords ransom. But do we get a guarantee that they could recover such after we pay the ransom?

  I also have had a similar issue - suddenly locked out of free version of Avira Password Manager.   I know my master password; however, it no longer prompts me for this.   I have created a new post for my issue.  Based on not see any responses here, I'm not hopeful that the community has a solution or can confirm Avira's approach to limit the use of free version and force an upgrade.
