cancellation of antivirus Windows free trial
I cancelled my subscription, however, I still get these attempts to charge my credit card. I do free trials on an account I keep at less than $5 just for this reason, so the attempt to charge for a subscription always fail.
Avira is IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL and IMPOSSIBLE to get customer service to do their job. Any suggestions besides getting a lawyer and shutting down this scam company?

Furthermore, you will have documents about your termination of your test version.
Have you followed these instructions, as provided at the bottom of the page?
For automatic licence renewal, this switch to deactivation is also documented in the Avira customer account.
You have now contacted Avira several times, and the way to Avira Support has always been explained to you in every post. The digital assistant Mark always drew your attention to this: "I am here to help, but my assistance is limited to your subscription level." and "If you have an account, please log in for premium support services." This guide is available to you!You write: "I do free trials on an account I keep at less than $5 just for this reason, so the attempt to charge for a subscription always fail." Strange information, unfortunately not quite understandable.
We are sure that your request can be clarified with support.Premium customers with a valid licence and correct registration can contact the support team directly from the Avira customer account via "SUPPORT": via email, support chat and (in some cases) telephone.
The community (a public forum where everyone can read your information) cannot contribute to further clarification measures, this will be clarified with the payment service provider, Avira Support and your receipts. Thank you for your understanding.

Again, I followed ALL procedures to CANCEL the free trial (I believe back in December, 2023) and my payment information is repeatedly charged, now a 3rd month in a row. Your website, chat, email are ALL NONRESPONSIVE to this SIMPLE issue. Also, there is NO journal entry in my account interface saying I canceled the trial and there is NO way to verify I DID cancel it.
I am NOT a lawyer, but I am quite certain your firm is operating illegally as per the Federal Trade Commission, which clearly regulates all interstate commerce in the United States that crosses State lines.
Your response to this SIMPLE issue continues the INSANITY and unprofessionalism of your operation.
