    you can add exceptions for the real-time protection. Under the following link you find instructions, how to do this under Antivirus for Mac:

    Thank you for your reply. The warning I am getting is for an adware, "xSf." As this is not a folder, nor a file, there is not a "path" that I can write as a command line. Could you advise me how exactly I should input this exception as a command line in the Terminal window?

    Hello Aydin,

     

    unfortunately I do not know the path and the exact name of the file, because we have no connection to your pc. Which also makes sense for safety reasons.

    You need to figure out, where the detected file is located. The file needs to be on your system since Antivirus found it.

    Please search for the file under File --> Find and enter the name in the upper right-hand search field, to figure out the path of the file.
