Phantom VPN does not show license purchase

I have had an automatic subscription through apple store for months now. I pay 5euros monthly for VPN on my Mac.
However, now suddenly it doesnt want to show the subscription anymore in my account nor does it want to reactivate it when I click on "restore purchase".
My apple store still shows that I have had a valid subscription and that the next payment should have gone on the 19.of Oct. Ive cancelled the subscription now until this is solved.
What can I do about this? I cant even contact anybody from Avira as it wont let me as supposedly I am not paying customer (which I am!). Horrible customer service, I must add. Like being in twilight zone!

I guess its because of Catalina update. Actually I have the same problem. My subscription ends yesterday and I can't renew it because nothing happens after I push the purchase button. It only opens the mac app store's login dialog and leads me to the Avira subscription page where I can change nothing. And in Avira program top menu my purchase was started but its everlasting..... nothing happens too.

Hello,
please uninstall the program and perform a fresh installation from the apple store. Make sure not to log in to an Avira account over the Register button after the installation. When you buy our products from the store, the license is stored in the apple store and not in the Avira account.So if you log in to an Avira account, the program thinks that you are a free user and the program will also turn into the free version.

I push the button "Buy" (not logged in) and App Store says that its successfully bought, but in Avira's menu the black stripe says: "the buy is not finished try later". What am I doing wrong?

My subscription appears in Appstore but Avira's menu still remaining the same.

Hello, thank you.
After wasting all evening with Phantom vpn (I had this happen before but purchase was restored after pressing the "restore purchase" button) and being annoyed to no end, I have decided I cant be bothered anymore so ended the avira subscription (which will run out in a week) and switched to Nordvpn. More expensive, but I got immediate customer support through the chat and everything works smoothly.
