Unwanted software on install
Avira, you just lost another customer. :-( I downloaded the free version for a temporary install on a Windows 10 laptop to try the product out, and even though I went into the install panel and limited the installation to strictly the anti-virus with no extras, the installer *STILL* installed the Opera Browser, which I have absolutely no use for, since I already use Firefox as my main internet browser.
I don't like to be forced into installing software that I A. don't need B. do not like to start with. You guys need to rethink the way you push out your 'trial' installations, as nothing is truly free. When a potential customer selects just the Avira free anti-virus and nothing else, that's what they should see in the installer, not a complete 'internet security suite'. The Opera Browser was the icing on the cake that triggered me to uninstall the whole thing and look for another vendor. Sorry guys, I'm not playing that game.

Hello,
With the Free Security Suite, you use a free service from Avira. With this package, we would like to introduce our customers to our entire product portfolio and show them all the advantages of our Avira products.
Of course, you can always uninstall unwanted features after the installation via the Windows settings as described under the following link:
