Mac: Real-Time protection is disabled, and cannot enable
TerminéeI have Avira for Mac and I'm running Mojave... everything was fine until I noticed the umbrella in my menu bar was closed... sure enough real-time protection isn't enabled... and simply nothing happens when I click on the toggle to enable it.
So far I haven't found anywhere to see what the error is, and nothing indicates an issue aside from the 'red radar' screen and the 'services' left-icon shows a red "!'.. to add to the confusion, I don't see anything on Avira.com that talks about this situation on the Mac.
Has anyone else run into this before?

Hello Dustin.
Your Problem should be solved after a complete uninstall of the avira products and a new, clean installation.
Sorry that I have no easier way for you, to change that status.

Hi Felix. I have the same problem that Dustin described, on a MacBookPro with OS10.10.2.
I first tried the fixHomePermission.command, but that did not solve the problem.
I did the uninstall and fresh install, but the problem did not go away.

Hello Sean,
Well, sadly your used version of macOS isn't supported for some years. The current minimum system-requirements are macOS 10.13 but it's recommended to run the latest version if possible.

Thanks for the reply, Arthur. I'll look into updating the OS but IIRC my hardware won't support 10.13.
