still cannot remove Avira Browser Safety after safe mode and running Registry Cleaner in Windows 10 - please help!
still cannot remove Avira Browser Safety. I should have deleted and uninstalled all Avira files in windows 7, before i upgraded to Windows 10, but i did not know that I had to. I originally installed Avira in Windows 7.. Now after following your instructions & all the posts on this matter, still cannot uninstall this Avira Browser Safety in my Widows 10. always says "OS version incompatibility" and will not uninstall. I Did everything i could, saved the Registry Cleanser on the desk top. Booted computer up in Safe mode, and also then tried safe mode with net working. Tried deleting Avira files in C drive as instructed. Ran the Avira Registry Cleaner, will not remove Avira Browser Safety. Is there someone from Avira that can help?

I feel your pain. And, guess what? You probably won't be able to refresh windows (fully reinstall while retaining all programs--- if you ever need to) until Avira resolves this problem. Windows 10 won't allow a refresh to complete because detects it as an "incompatible" program.that has to be removed first. The registry cleaner software doesn't seem to remove the program fully. I'm awaiting help for this as well.

Avira, are you going to respond here & offer a solution that works? We cannot uninstall this Avira Browser Safety with our Windows 10 operating system! We have tried all your posted fixes, they do not work. Please respond and help with a solution. Thank you.

I and many others are having this horrible problem with Avira...... Hoping Avira will find a solution to remove this persistent virus of their doing ASAP........
