Finish Setting Up Recurring Message on Mac

Like many others out there, for the past several days I have been getting the "Finish Setting Up Avira" message.  Avira updated successfully and I'm running MAC OS 10.14.6.  My computer stalls out until this message can be turned off.  I scoured the message boards and no one seems to have had any resolution to this.

  Hey,

  we've seen this issue sporadically happen on various Avira Antivirus installations on Mac and have investigated it. There is a new version in the pipeline that should fix your problem. Unfortunately the timeline for the release is not fix yet, therefore I can't share it. 

  Once it's available I will publish a message in here.

  Same issue here.
  More than 2 month later - and still no update, that solves it. :(
