I don't want Opera. Why are you forcing it on me?

Hello, I've been using your product for over 10 years, recommended it to my friends and family, and now I am shocked at what has become of this program. I understand sending us the pop-up advertisement/offer with the free version - that's ok, you have to eat and nothing is truly free. Iunderstand that. What's NOT ok is forcing me to use Opera browser, in addition to all the other random tools you installed without my consent. I don't want to even install Opera in the first place and now the update is forcing it on me. Maybe I can uninstall, maybe I cannot - I don't want to spend time or worry about it, so I'm not going to play. This behaviour and the other installations and behaviour (including your VPN turning on by itself sometimes, even after I make sure to terminate the process!) make me lose trust in your product and your company. I'm going to uninstall this anti virus from all of my devices because I don't trust it or the company anymore. I'm writing this here just so that hoping someone reads this and realize what a mistake they are make with these decisions and maybe think about them again. I can't recommend your product to anyone anymore in good conscience. Very regrettable direction for the company. :(

  pascha45 Hi, and how do we stop the VPN from forcing itself on us? I declined its use when I initially installed, and now just installing things without my consent? Its simply unacceptable.

   

  Hi G, can you please tell me what ant virus you're using instead? I like Avira because it's light weight. But in all honesty, it's acting like a virus these days.
