Windows Security settings menu is empty

Hi.
When I open the "Windows Security" in order to manage some settings, it opens a window that says "Security at a glance" and below it "See what's happening with the security and health of your device and take any actions needed." but the window is blank.
On the top left there is a pointer symbol, a menu symbol (3 parallel lines) and on the bottom left the "settings" symbol.
Clicking on the menu symbol expands a side window which is also empty.

I use Windows 10 Pro, version 1903.
