    First, it would be important to know:

    • Where did you purchase the licence, in the AVIRA Online Shop or in the Apple App Store?
    • Which Avira license version did you buy?
    • Is the license displayed in your Avira customer account under Subscriptions?
    • Did you order the license with your iPhone (which version) from Avira?

    You think your problems with Skype have to do with the installation of your Avira protection program?
    Have you set up an Avira customer account on your PC?

    It would be nice if you could send us important information about your problem.

    I purchased Avira subscription thru the iPhone App Store.. I’m not sure how to answer the questions about the license. I can tell you the laptop is compromised. I know it being remote admin controled an has hydra Virus wich mcaffee, Norton, failed to prevent/ detect ect.. I’ve formatted an reinstalled several times an beleave the d:/ recovery is compromised an useless, I’ve even switched hardrives with a different copy of windows an a next cyber security suite only to last one week as I came to find in event logs fatal error an reboot adding 30 new devices/device ids, several http Bluetooth type an other Bluetooth drivers a phone book app and modem to Bluetooth link were it seems the cpu connected to an old Android phone an dialed out?? checking emails both gmail account had a log in from said Android matching the event logs time.. only my iCloud account has not been compromised.. I also found an documented everything explained above an more. Ide gladly share any and everything thing if only to help improve your software.. I have never used or even searched for Avira on the laptop or connected the iPhone to the laptop in any matter wich is why it concerns me that I found a recently modified folder with what it seams would be from the iPhone as I have it installed. This was found in a .json file Skypeaudiolibrary experiment createprobedevicefailures

    Sorry to edit it’s concerns me that I found Avira file information (files) on the laptop that could only came from the iPhone that I’ve installed from the istore

    Also to note I mite have used squachbassgmail (found compromised by Android) to originally Register Avira iPhone app.. I’m not positive but I’m trying very hard not use iCloud for anything to keep secure

    Not without reason we have asked questions that have not yet been answered,
    e.g. which iPhone model, which Avira license, is the license displayed in an Avira customer account under Subscriptions, is an Avira customer account on your PC?


    You have purchased your license in the Apple Play Store, then this license is also stored in your Apple account. Unfortunately, we do not have access to your Apple account.

    Please contact Apple via your Apple account about the problems with your installation, from there they can check your license and your installation.
    If the license had been purchased in the Avira online shop, you would have an Avira customer account, and we could check your problems with the installation.
    But you have an Apple account through the purchase in their App Store.

    We can't give any information about your malware infestation - which must already be massive -  because checks are necessary, and we can't do anything without access to your account.
    Only in general about your malware infestation: not everything can be removed, only a clean new start can help you to secure the system.
    We're sorry we can't give you any other answer, your Apple account is responsible for installing your license, and we can't offer you any help with your virus infestation. Thank you for your understanding.
