Avira Free Security won't install on Mac OS 11.2

I downloaded the latest Avira Free Security version 1.4.3 today and installed it from the .dmg file. However, scans are disabled and on the Avira website, the dashboard says no products are installed. I've tried multiple times to reinstall with no success. The software worked with OS 11.1. Please help -0 thanks!

  Hello Alan,

  Please perform these steps to solve your issue:

  • Uninstall Avira
  • Upgrade your macOS to 11.2.1
  • Reinstall Avira

  Please note that the currently displayed message at your Avira Web Dashboard isn't correct and will be updated as soon as this issue is fixed.
