    Unfortunately, we cannot get a picture of the crashes with the information you have provided.

    • You write under "Mac". Which version, exact details/number? All updates?
    • Which Avira version are you using? (Free or license?)
    • Did you purchase it from the Apple App Store?
    • Internet losses? - please give an exact description.
    • "Have affected my NIC"?  Please exact description
    • Crash reports? Again and again? Can you paste screenshots here?

    FWIW, I have had no ethernet problems since uninstalling the software. I'm on an iMac with Big Sur, 11.2.3 - Avira 3.1.0 free home version downloaded from this website - symptom was unexpected and unannounced loss of ethernet - although connection to my router was still active, outside internet was dead - I use BwanaDik to monitor my connection, and it announced the loss of connection. I'm also running Sophos Home and MalwareBytes. It's now been over 36 hours without incident and the only factor I've changed is the uninstall of the Avira software, which I did after looking over my Console crash reports, which had several Avira-related entries. Model: iMac18,2, BootROM 429.80.1.0.0, 4 processors, Quad-Core Intel Core i5, 3 GHz, 16 GB, SMC 2.40f1 OS Version: macOS 11.2.3 (20D91)
