Problem installing on Big Sur 11.4

Hello, I am trying to install Avira on a MacBook Pro M1 2020 running MacOS 11.4. The installer downloads to 100% then asks for my admin password. I enter the password and it sends me back to the prompt to Accept t&c and Install. I click the Accept button then I am back on the screen where it shows 100% downloaded, then it prompts for admin password again. Repeat... infinite loop. I'm not sure what else I can try.

  Hallo Avira Community,

  ich schließe mich den englischen Post einfach mal in deutsch an, denn ich habe genau das gleiche Problem Avira ist zu 100% herunter geladen und wenn ich dann die Installation starte und das Admin PW eingeben, kommt immer und immer wieder die PW Eingabe und es geht nichts weiter. Was kann man tun oder was mach ich ggf. falsch? Ist mein 1. Macbook.

  Ich hoffe es kann jemand vom Avira Team helfen oder ein Community Mitglied.

  Well I just downloaded it again and it installed without issue this time, so I guess the issue was fixed sometime in the past month. Give it another try.
