Python 3.x and False Positive detections

I am a programmer and write software currently using Python 3.9 with PyCharm and PyInstaller.  Previously I have written software in FORTRAN, BASIC and other compilable languages on the same PC.

When copying programming output files to backup, Avira keeps forcing almost all ".py*" working files and ".exe" files generated by PyInstaller into Quarantine in spite of me turning off Heuristic and listing the source directory as excluded from scanning.  More annoyingly, when asked to restore these files it moves most to a Desktop folder rather than the original location.  Currently this means 17500 files have to be relocated by myself.

How do I stop Avira ever seeing these files or quarantining/relocating them?
